Played around with a sampler of beaded needlelace embroidery today. 🪡🤍 Historically, you would see this kind of beaded mesh on bridal veils, collars, and cuffs in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries. It gave fine muslin and tulle a hint of light decoration. You’d also find it on reticule bags as elegant embellishment, and it was sometimes practiced on samplers to master even beading before using it on finished pieces. | Whynotstitching Academy
