Get perfectly matched seams every time with this tip. It’s all in the pin placement! Instead of pinning straight across, angle your pin diagonally through the seam. Matching acute angles is one of the hardest seam matches in quilting. I think a lot of us use our habit of piercing two pieces of fabric with a pin and then rotating it for the second poke and unknowingly distort our match. It lifts the top fabric, distorting the 1/4” sewing line. If you are making a quilt project that you want to have very accurate matches, I encourage you to switch to this double pin style, and yes, get comfortable sewing over the pins.
